If my life could be unraveled and the hands of time reset
I’d make my way back to the day that you and I first met.
I’d focus on my battle plans and how I’d see them through,
Setting clear objectives of just how I’d fight for you.
You know, I ran the first time, I told myself I couldn’t win,
But now I see my error, so I’d throw my whole heart in.
I’d take the risk of losing all that I am meant to be
If by chance it meant that you might fall in love with me.
But no life can be unraveled, the hands of time cannot be placed.
So I must accept the loss I feel, with all humility and grace.
