DREAMS
Everyone dreams, but precious few remember anything about their dreams. I am fortunate, in that, I am able to remember a few of them with so much clarity, it’s as though I lived them.
Desperate Harvest (A Dream)
Desperate Harvest was one of the most vivid dreams I have ever had. When I woke up, I immediately woke up my wife and recounted the dream to her in detail, fearful I would not be able to remember it on my own. This dream, unlike many others I have had, has remained as fresh in my mind as it did the moment I awoke.
Living Among The Dead (A Dream)
Living Among the Dead is by far the most symbolic of all my dreams. I had this exact dream twice over a four month period.
Heart Transplant (A Dream)
Heart Transplant is the most significant dream to my spiritual life. It reflects an issue which I believe plagues many believers.
STORIES and LETTERS
These short stories or “accounts” are fictional but are rooted in truth. The letters are real, but are written in poetic prose. I write for two reasons, to either deal with the pain of a death or to express those things I see or feel, but are often beyond mere words. In a way, I view these as paintings …I simply use the color of words I have available on my palette at the time.
The Race
“The Race” was written as a tribute to someone I greatly admired as a young man.
Simple Prayer
“Simple Prayer” was written to make real, something that we kind of lose sight of as we trudge through life. We are not in this alone!
Jungle Trails
“Jungle Trails” was written out of frustration. A desperate goodbye to those who could no longer hear me or see me.
Time Traveler
“Time Traveler” was created as a refuge…. and a means with which to remember, who I am and where I came from. When I’m gone, this is where I’ll be…. I simply stayed too long!
The Princess, A Frog, And The Glass House 🐸
“The Princess, A Frog, And The Glass House” was written for fun. I used my love for fairytales and my interest in Greek mythology to shape the story. As it developed, I realized portions of this twisted tale mimicked parts my life. There were times I thought the world revolved around me. It made me consider the depth of my own selfishness and what it had cost me.
Poetic Heartbeats from Behind The Glass
“Poetic Heartbeats From Behind The Glass” is a letter to a friend. Some relationships aren’t constructed under societal norms. They are rare…. and in many ways, more difficult to hang on to, since no one can hear your heartbeat from behind the glass! Password Protected
AS I REMEMBER IT…
Coming Soon or maybe never!
